Speaking to KBS about the heat, Dr. Kittiwoot Chaloeytoy, a researcher at the Environmental Research Institute, Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, said: “We may experience heat waves like this more often in the future than we do now due to climate change and the El Nino phenomenon.”
