Thailand’s Covid Sniffer Dogs
Meet Angel, Apollo and Bobby. With a reported 95% success rate, these good dogs are able to detect Covid-19 in samples and will be deployed to suspected hotspots around Thailand. After being trained to detect asymptomatic Covid–19 Cases, they work in the Rot Dom Wai mobile laboratory unit, while a team collects samples for them to sniff. This project is the latest work by CUVET, in collaboration with Chula Faculties of Medicine and Science with funding support from Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production Co., Ltd.
