Chula Lecturers and Demonstration School Students Win Grand Prize, Special Awards, and 16 Gold Medals at the World Invention Creativity Olympics & Conference in South Korea 

Chula Lecturers and Demonstration School Students Win Grand Prize, Special Awards, and 16 Gold Medals at the World Invention Creativity Olympics & Conference in South Korea 

Teachers from the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, and Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, and Satit Chula Innovation Hub submitted 16 innovations to the 13th 2024 World Invention Creativity Olympics & Conference, organized by Korea University Invention Association (KUIA) and World Invention Intellectual Property Association (WIIPA) on July 23-24, 2024, at Seoul University of education Convention Hall, Seoul, South Korea. The team won the Grand Prize, 3 Special Awards, and 16 gold medals from this competition.  

The winning works of Chulalongkorn faculty members and Satit Chula students at the 13th 2024 World Invention Creativity Olympics & Conference include:  

“Pinto Scent: a customizable multi-scented inhaler,” developed by Miss Avika Khlaisang and Mr. Jeerasak Jitrojanarak, Advisor (middle) won the Grand Prize and Gold Medal.

  1. “Pinto Scent: a customizable multi-scented inhaler,” developed by Miss Avika Khlaisang and Mr. Jeerasak Jitrojanarak (advisor), won the Grand Prize and Gold Medal.  
  2. “Kitty Go: Eco friendly portable disposable litter box,” developed by Mr. Robert Armstrong and Mr. Jeerasak Jitrojanarak, won the Gold Medal and the Special Award from World Invention Intellectual Property Association (WIIPA).  
  3. “WASEN,” developed by Miss Piriya Wongpiwat, Miss Pirada Wongpiwat, Mr. Supanat Kulhiran, and Mr. Jet Kulhiran, won the Gold Medal and Special Award from Korea University Invention Association (KUIA).  
  4. “NCDs free Analysis,” developed by Miss Narapatr Henkarnklai, won the Gold Medal and Special Award from Korea University Invention Association (KUIA).  
  5. “FutureMe: a game-changing self-learning platform for learners to boost their future skillsets,” developed by Prof. Dr. Jintavee Khlaisang and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prakob Koraneekit, won the Gold Medal and Special Award from World Invention Intellectual Property Association (WIIPA).  
  6. “BERD: The Bio-Eco Rock Development Project,” developed by Mr. Thipok Tangsiripat, Miss Alisa Traiwittayakorn, and Mr. Pattarapol Wanichwattana, won the Gold Medal and Special Award from World Invention Intellectual Property Association (WIIPA).  
  7. “Yummy Move: Mobile Street Food Tracking Application for Enhancing Local Commerce,” developed by Mr. Sorakrich Thanyawan, Mr. Parith Noikong, Mr. Saranyapong Piyayophab, and Mr. Wacharawich Pongpairach, won the Gold Medal and Special Award from World Invention Intellectual Property Association (WIIPA). 
  8. “Red cell detector,” developed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duangdao Palasuwan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Attakorn Palasuwan, Department of Clinical Microscopy, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanarat Chalidabhongse, Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, won the Gold Medal.  
  9. “Blox-cycle: Eco-Friendly Building Blocks from Recycled Parcel Boxes,” developed by Mr. Jeerasak Jitrojanarak, Mr. Robert Armstrong, Ms. Namphueng Taweepornpathomkul, and Mr. Printron Changthavee, won the Gold Medal.  
  10. “Virtual StudioLab: Igniting Scientific Creativity: Fostering Scientific Creativity through STEAM Tools, Reflective Learning, and Real-World Engagement,” developed by Miss Kulchaya Piboon (doctoral student), Prof. Dr. Jintavee Khlaisang (primary supervisor), and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prakob Koraneekit (co-supervisor), won the Gold Medal.  
  11. “Comfy Me,” developed by Miss Suthakorn Kaewkamfu, Miss Pinyada Thanyawan, Mr. Than Issadawong, Mr. Rachapol Dharmajaro (Mahidol Wittayanusorn School), won the Gold Medal 
  12. “Eyebrella,” developed by Miss Nichanan Samanmongkol, Miss Manami Hiko Chompoo, Miss Kawisara Assawakamthorn, and Mr. Krittaluck Assawakamthorn, won the Gold Medal.  
  13. “TenniTube,” developed by Mr. Thanaphon Palasuwan and Mr. Nattanapach Palasuwan, won the Gold Medal.   
  14. “Miracle Eyes,” developed by Mr. Peewasut Sangtrakul, Miss Pooncharas Janesuthiwechakul, and Mr. Jak Leeyakard, won the Gold Medal.   
  15. “CASE 1st AID distributor,” developed by Miss Sirarin Prasitdamrong, Miss Lapas Udomsawangsap, Mr. Thaninkit Prasitdamrong (Patumwan Demonstration School), and Mr. Pran Udomsawangsap (Shrewsbury International School), won the Gold Medal 
  16. “Brain Stormer Box,” developed by Mr. Phuthon Tangsuebkul and Miss Phurichaya Watcharapornnin, won the Gold Medal.   

The sense of kinship and warmth found in the Chula community is priceless and a treasure worth keeping.
