Chulalongkorn University Holds Ceremony for Golden Medal of Honor and Farewell to Retirees for the Year 2024

On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at the Auditorium of Chulalongkorn University, Prof. Dr. Surakiart Sathirathai, Chairman of the Chulalongkorn University Council, presided over a ceremony to award the Gold Medal of Honor and bid farewell to the university’s retirees as part of the 2024 Quality of Life Development Project, a program designed for retirement preparation and post-retirement life.

The report was delivered by Professor Dr. Kanaphon Chanhom, Acting Vice President of Chulalongkorn University. During the event, Prof. Dr. Surakiart Sathirathai expressed his congratulations to the awardees and offered his best wishes to the retirees. The ceremony also featured a performance by the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University, and attendees joined together in singing “Petch Chompoo.”

Chulalongkorn University organizes this ceremony to present the Gold Medal of Honor to personnel who have served the university for at least 25 years and have retired from their services to the university as a token of appreciation for their dedication and long service to the university. This year, 206 individuals were awarded the Gold Medal of Honor.
