The first concert in this series took place at the Cultural Hall, Chulalongkorn University, on April 27, 2024. Following its success, another concert, titled “Music Connections: From Chao Phraya to Huangho,” was held on September 13, 2024, at the Conference Hall, Arabic Building, Beijing Foreign Studies University.
The performance was conducted by Mr. Sirowut Srinithesawat and Mr. Wang Di. Associate Professor Dr. Wichatalump Laowanich, Acting Assistant to the President of Chulalongkorn University, led the delegation, which included Mr. Kunchit Jitratan, Director of the Office of Art and Culture, Chulalongkorn University.
Also in attendance at the concert were Mr. Worapot Jansawadchai, Minister Counsellor at the Royal Thai Embassy in Beijing, and Professor Dr. Jin Limin, Director of the Confucius Institute. This collaboration was a resounding success, enriching the knowledge and experiences of both students and staff, while also strengthening ties between the two universities and countries.
